We purchased this stunning French bred filly at the Arqana Premier Yearling Sale in August 2018 for a bargain €18,000 and no wonder she sold out in 1 hour. We were offered €6,000 profit from the Italians when she was doing her wind test which we obviously turned down.

Her sire KENDARGENT is the leading active French sire and has had phenomenal continued success with 14 Black Type 2 year old’s and counting.

Kendargent made a fabulous start to his time at stud and was one of the real breakthrough sires of 2012, from an initial nomination fee of just €1000, and he quickly became very fashionable, particularly in his native France. He remains the sire of precocious 2yo’s, such as Goken, but he seems to excel with progressive individuals such as Jimmy Two Times, Marando and Restiadargent. Now standing at €17,000, you can see the immense progress he has made, given the successes of his progeny on the track. Himself, a Group 1 miler, who enjoyed a little cut underfoot, he appears to be passing on 6f to mile+ prowess into his hugely successful progeny.

As soon as we saw her we knew we just had to have her, she came highly recommended by Matt Eaves of Star Bloodstock who bred and sold Lamont Racing’s exciting 2 year old ‘Wee Jim’ who went on to the HIT Sales last year and sold for £110.000, making our share holders a tidy return on their investment.

Update 7th July 2020: Plusdargent has had smashing 1st run on 19th Feb and then went back to Newcastle on the 10th March and we knew after the race something wasn’t quite right, she returned lame, so we have given here the time she needed to recover, the Covid-19 could be a blessing in disguise, she is back in full training now and looks fantastic, Katie is very pleased with her, we cant wait to see her fulfill her potential this year, we are hoping she will make her turf debut in 4-6 weeks.
