Monique Rosa retired.

After a very disappointing debut and soundness issues we have decided to do the right thing and retire Monique Rosa. Sad news but the horse comes 1st. We move on and wish her new owners all the best in training Monique Rosa for a new discipline.

Monique Rosa Debut

After Leicester’s abandonment last week, Monique Rosa makes her debut on Saturday at Lingfield in the 7F Maiden, Jordan Uys takes off a valuable 7lbs. Good luck to all connections. Its been a long wait but hopefully patience will pay off and she has a nice introduction.

Our 3yo Aislabie ran a very pleasing 4th on debut over 1 mile 2F doing his best work at the finish. We will keep him at this distance and step him up after he qualifies for his mark.

Season 2014 Review

We had a great season with 7 winners and multiple placed horses, Wee Frankie who was a 20k purchase as a Yearling won his 1st two races and was sold to OTI Racing in Australia for 150K making a great return for our shareholders. We have purchased some quality yearlings last year and Lamont Racing are going from strength to strength. Excitiing Season ahead.
