I was delighted to purchase this cracking Colt by 1st Season Sire TERRITORIES, he was a Classic-placed, Group 1-winning miler from the immediate family of top-class stallions SHAMARDAL and STREET CRY, he covered 274 mares in his first two books, with 84% closely related to Stakes horses.
Darley Stallion Territories is in his 3rd year at Dalham Stud Newmarket, he is a son of the mighty Invincible Spirit and was one of the top three year old milers of 2015 when he scored in the Group 1 Prix Jean Prat at Chantilly and was a close second in the 2000 Guineas. He was rated 119 in the world rankings, only 3lbs below the double Guineas winner Gleneagles.
Territories certainly made a splash at the 2019 Tattersalls Book-1 and Book 2 Yearlings sales with 15 lots going through the ring with an average price of £76,000.
This Colt’s dam, ISALOU was a winner at 3 and has already produced 5 winners from 6 runners, with horses capable of running to marks of 72-88-92-99 and 104, with two of them securing black-type.
