‘Wee Dracula’

Trainer: Katie Scott –  25% Available.

Partnership: Richie Whitelaw, Ash Wright, & Monique McClymont.

We are delighted to offer this cracking Colt by the hugely exciting 1st season sire AWTAAD.

The Classic winning miler AWTAAD, a strapping son of Cape Cross, captured the imagination of all who saw him and, as a result, his first full book of mares included no less than 60% Black Type winners or Black Type producers.

The fruits of those coverings have been equaling encouraging and, with another high quality book following on behind, his stud career has got off to the best possible start.

Derrinstown has left the fee for its leading light Awtaad at €15,000 as part of what will be an unchanged four-strong stallion roster for 2020.

The Irish 2,000 Guineas winner, a son of Cape Cross, has always been available at this price since he arrived at the stud and his first yearlings were well-received across Europe this year, averaging £78,980 and bolstered by three six-figure purchases by Shadwell at Goffs Orby including a half-brother to another Classic hero, Phoenix Of Spain, for €400,000.

Our Colts Dam ‘North Mare’ was a winner at 3 and has produced one runner which is a winner, we are looking forward to the debut of her other progeny, a colt by Sea the Stars who cost a cool £100,000 as a yearling.

The following share prices include: Purchase price, sales house & bloodstock agents commission, ‘Plus 10 bonus’ registration (if applicable), vetting, transport and training fees to date.

25% share available @ £5,000 upfront and £625 per month from 1st Jan ’21
10% share available @ £2,900 upfront and £250 per month from 1st Jan ’21
5% share available @ £1,500 upfront and £125 per month from 1st Jan ’21
